Dr. Jeffery M. Johnsrud decided to pursue a career in medicine because he enjoys helping people maintain good health. He strives to always provide the highest quality medical care possible, and always has his patients’ best interests at heart.

Dr. Johnsrud received his medical degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He then completed his surgical internship and subsequent residency at USC Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Johnsrud is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Today, Dr. Johnsrud maintains interest and expertise in a wide range of surgical fields, including laparoscopic bariatric surgery, laparoscopic surgery, hernias and gall bladders. He also has an interest in using robotics in advancing the field of minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Johnsrud is a member of the American Society for Bariatric Surgery.

When he’s not working, Dr. Johnsrud enjoys swimming, surfing and reading.
